Adding a candle is a lovely way to thank a family for setting up a Tribute or to let the family know that you are thinking of them on an anniversary. Using the Partner Area this is very quick to do and by setting your Alerts appropriately, you can be prompted when new Tributes are created or an anniversary is approaching.
Login in to your Partner Area and enter your email address and MuchLoved password. You will then see the Partner Area home screen with a list of the Tributes created for your charity. Scroll or search to the relevant Tribute (remember to check ‘Tributes Fundraising for You’ if you can’t find a Tribute in the ‘Your Tributes’ listing).
Click on the Settings button for the Tribute and you will enter the Tribute Details page. Scroll to halfway down the Tribute Details page and click on the ‘Manage Candles’ button:
Clicking on Manage Candles takes you to a screen where you will see a list of the candles already created on the Tribute. There is also an ‘Add a Candle’ button on the top right of the list. Click on this button and you will be taken to a screen where you can add a candle:
You can choose which type of candle you wish to add from the drop down list at the top, and change the colour of the candle’s background.
When you have completed the fields click ‘Add Candle’. You will see a message confirming your candle has been added to the Tribute and your candle will now appear at the top of the list of candles for the Tribute:
If you spot any errors or spelling mistakes, simply click on the ‘Edit’ button which will take you back into the Add a Candle screen. Clicking on the small box with an arrow next the date and time field will show you the candle within the Tribute itself.
